A cats life

I've been home for 5 months. Mmm hmmm. 5 months and what can I say. I've worked a lot.......I've fundraised a lot......

A psychic once told me that i was a cat in my past life, and that my personality still resembles that of our feline friends. I am a wanderer. I am never meant to stay locked in one place. I must roam, i must explore, I will not come when called. Let me come to you, do not come to me. I am wild at heart yet crave civilized comforts.

New Vision Discussion Board

I was sent this link to a discussion board by one of the other volunteers. I found it quite interesting considering what's been happening in Uganda. Check it out HERE

Well, I bought my ticket today. Sooooo excited. The fares were ridiculous buying this close to christmas but I ended up getting a great deal if i leave on the 27th. So, even better, now i get to spend a week in London with my cousin Caroline. I haven't seen her in years so I am really looking forward to it.

I've been pretty these last couple of months working and fundraising. I've had absolutely zero social life to speak of since I've been pinching every penny. In fact, I've even resorted to a bit of dumpster diving for bottles and cans. Aaaagh, brought back memories of being a starving university student.

I went in last week to get my shots. Cost over 300 dollars and 5 more holes in my body but i think it's worth it. I'm having some trouble with the Malaria pills though. These will cost another 300 dollars and I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to pay for this. If anyone has any great ideas on how to make some real quick cash or how to get the pills donated please ring me.
