LETS PLAY SOME CATCH UP
Okay....so I admit, I totally suck at this whole journal thing. For my whole life I can remember diaries and journals that were started with enthusiastic daily entries that within weeks became quickly jotted monthly blurbs. I thought that this journal would be different because there would be some sort of expectation from friends and family who read this page. So, from now on I am going to give a concerted effort to at least do one entry every three or four days.
So, I can not possibly tell you everything that has been happening these last couple of weeks/month so I'll just give you the main highlights. I did some work under my mother's contract with the School Board helping with chaperoning and developing a website for twenty Japanese kids that visited for a couple of weeks this month. It was an awsome experience and the kids were wonderful.
We just got a new student in this month as well. Her name is Justine and she is from France. She's 16 years old and totally nice. She's only been here a week but has fit in just nicely with us.
Eunice (our Korean student) has been talking about getting her button pierced for as long as I can remember, so a couple of days ago when we were out i convinced her just to do it and proved how painless it was for her by repiercing mine. This is only the third time it's been pierced (ha ha). Maybe this time i'll keep it longer than a year....I'll just keep away from moshpits if I'm not wearing a top (ha ha).
Yesterday, Justine and I caught Avril Lavigne's free concert at Metrotown. I was really impressed with her. I've never considered myself the biggest Avril fan. I was always sort of indifferent however I now find myself respecting her quite a bit as an artist. The concert was short but it was worth the two hour wait in the parking lot. We were right up front and were both on the news that evening.
Anyhoo, I don't think anything else has really happened this week that you would find interesting so i'll sayGoodbye !
